HTC Banned from selling the One Mini Smartphone in UK
A UK court has ruled that HTC can no longer sell its One Mini Smartphone in the UK following an infringement on Nokia’s European patent number 0998024.
The infringement is described as a modular structure for a transmitter and a mobile station.
Though HTC argued that the infringement was minimal and that HTC does not compete with Nokia in the UK given that it runs on Android while the Nokia runs on Windows, Nokia dismissed the claims saying it has lost sales since the launch of the One Mini.
HTC now has until 6th December to appeal against this ruling.
